playing, a-wooing and sniffing with her snout
all day long has tired her out.
with a huff and sigh, plop she goes
softly snoring as the wind blows.
a quick little nap as mom drives her home,
where she knows she'll get her favorite bone.
after a yummy meal maybe a walk;
then a quiet evening listening to mom talk.
patient and understanding and always there,
that's why my little pup is so dear.
